This 400 micron polythene radon barrier is designed to help prevent the ingress of radon gas and ground moisture within building structures. Supplied in a 4m x 20m roll, it is suitable for use within floor constructions where a continuous gas-resistant membrane is required.
Manufactured from durable polythene, the membrane is used as part of a radon protection system when installed in accordance with current building regulations. It can also function as a damp proof membrane, helping to reduce moisture transmission from the ground into the building.
The barrier is BBA certified, confirming its suitability for use within approved construction systems and supporting consistent performance when correctly installed. Joints can be lapped and sealed using compatible tapes and accessories to maintain full continuity across the membrane.
