FEBTANK Super Slurry Grey is a cementitious waterproof coating designed for damp-proofing and tanking concrete and masonry surfaces. When mixed with clean water, the powder forms a durable waterproof slurry that can be applied by brush, broom, or spray to create a protective barrier against water ingress and moisture penetration.
Developed for both internal and external use, the coating is suitable for above and below ground waterproofing applications including cellars, foundations, retaining walls, tunnels, and floor slabs. The formulation is resistant to both positive and negative water pressure, making it suitable for structures exposed to damp conditions or ground moisture.
FEBTANK Super Slurry is commonly used for cellar tanking, below ground waterproofing, retaining walls, lift pits, foundations, and damp-prone masonry structures. It is also suitable for waterproofing walls and floors in shower areas prior to decorative finishes, along with water-retaining structures such as swimming pools and tanks.
The slurry is mixed with clean water to form a smooth, lump-free consistency before application. Surfaces should be structurally sound, clean, and pre-dampened prior to coating. The product is typically applied in a minimum two coat system, with the second coat applied at right angles to the first to ensure full and consistent coverage.
Once cured, the coating forms a dense waterproof barrier that becomes integral to the substrate. Typical coverage is approximately 3.5kg per m² for a standard two coat application, increasing in areas subject to higher water pressure or where additional protection is required.
