Bonding adhesive is a contact adhesive used to secure EPDM membrane to upstands, vertical faces and areas where a stronger initial grab is required than can be achieved with standard deck adhesive. It is typically applied to both the membrane and the substrate, allowed to tack off and then pressed together to form the bond.
The adhesive is suitable for details such as parapets, edge trims, penetrations and other changes in level where the membrane needs to be fixed to non-horizontal or non-porous surfaces as part of the ClassicBond installation system.
